Advantages of the Salli saddle chair
Shoulder tension is relieved
Sitting like on a horse! The body is automatically brought into an ergonomic position, provided the chair is correctly adjusted. Good posture also helps to relieve the strain on the shoulders and neck.
risk of joint diseases decreases
When sitting on the Salli saddle chair, the angle between the thighs and upper body is 135 degrees. This sitting position promotes blood circulation in the hip and knee joints.
The metabolism is accelerated
Sitting in a hunched position puts considerable pressure on the intestines, which can make bowel movements difficult. On a Salli, however, it is not possible to sit in a hunched position, which has a positive effect on the metabolism.
Pelvic floor muscles are strengthened
Many middle-aged mothers have problems with their pelvic floor muscles. Sitting on the Salli Swing chair promotes the activity of these muscles and thus improves their function.
Risk of erectile dysfunction is reduced
The two-part saddle chair does not put any pressure on the genitals. The hips can tilt forward, creating a natural curve in the lower back.
Cellulite formation is prevented
Slow blood circulation can lead to cellulite and varicose veins. Sitting on a Salli puts less pressure on the buttocks and thigh muscles than on a traditional chair, which improves blood circulation.

FAQ
Is it worth switching to a Salli saddle chair?
Yes, the change is worth it in the long run! The posture of the back on a saddle chair is similar to that when standing, which creates a natural curve that prevents the vertebrae from pressing on the intervertebral discs. This position can be maintained effortlessly.
Sitting on a saddle chair relieves back tension, reduces sciatica pain, promotes blood circulation and deepens breathing. The hip joints are at an optimal angle of 135 degrees, which makes movement in space much easier.
Thanks to the central gap, pressure on the genitals is reduced, which is beneficial to your health.
Why is there no backrest?
When sitting on a saddle chair, the position of the spine is almost similar to that when standing: the lower back is slightly curved and the vertebrae do not exert pressure on the intervertebral discs. This natural posture can be maintained effortlessly.
On a traditional office chair with a backrest, the thighs are at a steep 90-degree angle, which often causes the pelvis to tilt backwards. This causes the back to become curved and fatigued more quickly.
How do you sit correctly on a saddle chair?
If you keep the following 3 things in mind, you will sit correctly.
1. Sit high enough so that there is an angle of about 135 degrees in the hips and knees. This wide angle allows the pelvis to tip forward and maintain the natural curve in the lower back. If you sit too low, you tend to put your feet forward, which often leads to a hunched posture and a rounded back.
2. Sit far enough back so that you can reach the back edge of the chair. If you sit too far forward, your sit bones won't be resting on the softest part of the seat, which can make the chair seem hard.
3. Keep your feet positioned at your sides , similar to standing. When viewed from the side, your shoulder, pelvis and heel should be in line. When your feet are pointing forward, your back tends to get into an unnatural, rounded position.
Does the Salli saddle chair have to be used together with a height-adjustable table?
We recommend a height-adjustable table, as you sit 15-20 cm higher on the Salli than on normal chairs.
The raised sitting position is created because the hip and knee angles are 135 degrees instead of the 90 degrees on conventional chairs.
What tools are needed for assembly?
No tools are required.
The chair consists of only three parts and is very easy to assemble.
Which model is suitable for men?
Men should definitely use a two-part Salli because the chair, thanks to the middle gap, does not press on the genital area. This means that blood circulation and nerve functions are not disturbed.
On some models, even the size of the center gap can be adjusted.
